PRP & PRF Treatment – Face & Hair

PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma) and PRF (Platelet-Rich Fibrin) are natural, non-surgical treatments that use your body’s own platelets and growth factors to refresh skin and support hair growth. Both treatments stimulate collagen, elastin and tissue regeneration for healthier, more youthful-looking results — with minimal downtime.

What is PRP Face, Hair & Scars?

PRP and PRF are two closely related regenerative treatments that use a small sample of your own blood to harness its natural healing power.

PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma) concentrates the platelets from your blood, which are then injected or applied to the treatment area to stimulate collagen production, refresh the skin and encourage hair growth. PRP is sometimes referred to as the “Vampire Facial”.

PRF (Platelet-Rich Fibrin) is the next-generation evolution of PRP. Spun at a lower speed and without additives, PRF retains more growth factors, white blood cells and a fibrin scaffold that releases its benefits gradually over time — giving subtle, longer-lasting rejuvenation.

Your practitioner will recommend PRP, PRF, or a combination of both based on your goals and the area being treated.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

  • A small sample of your blood is drawn, just like a routine blood test.
  • The sample is processed in a centrifuge to separate the platelets (PRP) or the fibrin and growth factors (PRF).
  • The concentrate is then re-introduced into the treatment area via microinjections or microneedling.
  • Growth factors stimulate collagen, elastin and tissue regeneration, gradually improving skin quality and hair density.

Results

You’ll start to see improvements in the look and feel of your skin, hair, or scars within a few weeks. A series of sessions is often recommended for the best results. The effects can last for several months, with follow-up treatments helping to maintain the results.

TREATMENT PROCESS

The treatment process is simple and follows three steps:

We’ll discuss your concerns and assess the area you want treated, whether it’s your face, hair, or scars. This will help us create a personalised treatment plan.

A small blood sample is taken and processed to concentrate the platelets. The PRP is then injected into the target areas using fine needles. The treatment usually takes around an hour.

You might experience some redness or swelling, but this typically goes away within a day or two. You’ll be given aftercare advice to help ensure the best results.
